Most basic WordPress sites start around $4,800, depending on size and level of complexity. Returning clients and licensed nonprofits may qualify for discount pacakging
Though each site is a custom project based on your specific needs, the following list shows what is usually included in that price.
PROJECTS USUALLY INCLUDE:
- Website hosting setup
- Base installation and configuration of latest version of WordPress
- Installation, setup, and customization of one premium WordPress theme using your branding, color scheme, copy and imagery
- Installation and configuration of assorted plugins, including WordPress SEO (for search engine optimization and indexing)
- Setup and design of home page with slider and widgets
- Setup and design of 6-8 interior pages
- Blog setup (if desired) with 1-3 initial posts
- Google Analytics account creation
- Google Search Console account creation
- SSL Certificate
OPTIONAL ADD-ONS:
- Contact forms
- Portfolios, galleries, or case-studies
- Event calendars
- Training
PROJECTS USUALLY DO NOT INCLUDE:
- Domain registration (usually $15/yr or less, it is recommended that the domain name be in YOUR name for your protection so that you retain complete ownership)
- Website Hosting (usually $25/mo, it is also recommended that this be in YOUR name for the same reasons as above)
- Email setup and configuration
- Photography (You can use your own photos or we can purchase inexpensive stock photography)
- Logo Design
- Copywriting
- E-commerce or custom portals for restricted access areas
- Ongoing site maintenance (I do offer a no-strings-attached maintenance plan, though!)
- Extensive theme customization (I can provide additional CSS customization at an hourly rate)
If the site is exceptionally tiny or simple, I can sometimes make accommodations to fit your budget. Contact me and we can discuss your unique needs. In the spirit of philanthropy, I also offer a nonprofit discount. And if you do need assistance with some of the above items not normally included, I can usually help with those, too! I just bill them separately.
